History: Formerly owned by a private collector of rare and exotic animals, Sheila escaped her enclosure soon after the sickness hit and her owner evacuated.
Skills/Role in community: A solitary roamer who strikes fear into the other animals, her presence encouraged the packs on Skarth to forge a tentative truce once a month, so as to gather and share information of her whereabouts (it has since also become a gathering to share general news and discuss territory boundaries/sicknesses/depletion of any prey, and maintain alliances between packs)

Appearance:
The largest bird on Skarth, Sheila is instantly recognisable even from a long distance. She has a stiff, bristly black plumage with very small wings, a blue face and a long blue neck, as well as strikingly long legs that allow her to tower over other animals. Her eyes are a vibrant brown, and she sports red on the nape of her neck and two red wattles measuring around 7 inches in length hanging down around her throat. A tall, horn-like brown casque, measuring about 6 inches in height, sits atop her head; her bill dark and slightly curved, measuring about 7.5 inches long. The most notable part of Sheila's appearance, however, are her feet - three-toed, thick and powerful, equipped with a lethal 4.5 inch long dagger-like claw on the inner toe.
